Seeking for the God
“Two closes one” I understand as a featuring my mother’s, folkartists, Aldona’s Rekevičienė’s craftworks. They inspire me so much.
A napkin on which my mother used to serve a cup of coffee for a guest- this is a memory I have from my childhood. The hot drink would warm the conjunctive weaves of a simple needlework. For a short afternoon it would become a connecting link between us. Today my eyes, looking through a napkin tatted by a mother, look if there is a different divine order in the world: connective and warming.
